This session invites your young artist to join 4P Studios art instructor at our Martinez location to learn about a variety of art methods of working with Clay! Handbuilding, Sculpting, Coil, Slab... Anything is possible and each week is different! Join us for more than one session!
*Please send your young artist in clothes that are ok to get messy! Most clay and underglazes wash out of clothing but we'd hate to have a special outfit ruined by some of the art materials we may use.
**Additionally, we recommend to pack a snack for your child.

Please keep in mind that pottery is a process. The time you will spend in class is for learning beginner/intermediate skills and for making your beautiful creations. The pieces you will create during these sessions will need to be bisque fired once your class is completed. This will take roughly 1-2 weeks. Your bisqued works will then be glaze fired, which will take another 1-2 weeks for completed pieces to be ready for pick up in their finished state. The anticipated time from the end of your class session for the studio to contact you to pick up your completed projects is about 4-6 weeks from the last day of your session. A studio representative will reach out to you to schedule a pick up of your finished works.
