About the event
Ages: 16+
All skill levels are welcome!
Each student will be supplied with a leather hard cup form and learn hand building and sculpting techniques to create their own unique funky mug handle! Students will have a fully functional AND decorative mug, perfect for those cozy nights sipping their favorite warm beverages.
This class is perfect for the beginner clay student. Those with more advanced skills will have this session tailored to their experience level. Students will select their best creations for the instructor to fire and glaze.
Students are asked to wear closed toe shoes, clothes they don't mind getting dirty, and to bring a clean towel with them to class (in most cases, the clay will wash out of clothing and towels).

All instruction, materials, firings, and glazing are included. Completed items will be ready for pick up approximately 8 weeks from the date of your session. Your instructor will handle trimming, labeling, firing, & glazing your items. This class is an introduction to the pottery on the wheel process. Want to learn more?
